Cookie Policy
Effective October 18, 2026
Below are the cookies and similar tools opendoors360.com uses, what sets each one, what it's for, and how to change your choice. The wider picture is in our Privacy Policy.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between one page and the next. Similar tools do the same job another way, such as your browser's local storage and session storage. Where this page says cookies, it covers those too.
2. Always loaded, because the site needs them
- HoneyBook forms. Our contact and booking forms are HoneyBook's. The form loads as it scrolls into view, stores what you submit with HoneyBook, and may set its own cookies under HoneyBook's policy. It's the service you came to use, so the banner doesn't hold it back.
- Cloudflare Turnstile. Protects the instant estimate form from bots. It loads on demand where a form is, and it's a security check, not a tracker.
- Your banner answer. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage as
od_consent_v1("granted" or "denied"), so we don't ask every visit. - Instant estimate memory. Local storage holds
od360_leadquiz_v1, which remembers whether you finished or dismissed the instant estimate pop-up so it doesn't keep appearing. Session storage holdsod360_lq_shown, which stops it opening more than once per visit. - Where your visit started. Session storage holds
od_attr_v1: the first page of your visit, the website that sent you (host only) and any campaign tags. It disappears when you close the tab and leaves your browser only inside a request you choose to send. - Thank-you page note. Session storage holds
od360_ty_fired, a one-time flag on the thank-you page that stops a request being counted twice. - The AI assistant. On some pages a Zapier chat assistant loads when it scrolls into view. It sends nothing until you type a question into it, and it may set its own cookies under Zapier's policy.
- 360 tours. Tour viewers load from the tour host when a tour scrolls into view, and may set their own cookies under that host's policy.
3. Analytics
Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, shows us how people find the site and which pages are useful. It sets cookies that begin with _ga so it can tell a returning browser from a new one. Tag Manager is the container that loads it and sets nothing on its own.
These run under Google Consent Mode, set by place. In California, Canada, the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, analytics starts switched off and stays off until you accept on the banner. Everywhere else in the United States it starts on, and declining on the banner switches it off.
4. Session replays and heatmaps
Microsoft Clarity shows us heatmaps and anonymized replays of how a visit moved through a page, so we can see where people get stuck. It masks whatever you type into a form before it leaves your browser. Microsoft handles what it collects under its own terms, and Clarity may set its own cookies in your browser.
Clarity waits for you everywhere, including outside California, Canada, the United Kingdom and the EEA. It loads only after you press Accept on the banner. If you haven't answered or you declined, it never runs.
5. Booking attribution
HoneyBook offers a tiny 1x1 image that tells us which page a booking request came from. We only request it after you press Accept. Until then it isn't requested at all.
6. Advertising
We don't run advertising pixels from Meta, TikTok or any similar network on this site, and the site's code contains none.
7. How to change your choice
to see the banner again and pick Accept or Decline. Declining switches off Google Analytics cookies, stops Clarity and stops the booking attribution image, and the forms work the same.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal and you haven't answered the banner, we treat that as Decline: Google Analytics stays switched off, Clarity doesn't load, the booking attribution image isn't requested and the banner doesn't appear. You can still choose Accept from the cookie settings button above.
Your browser holds a second off switch. Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all let you block cookies, delete the ones already stored, or warn you before one is set. You'll usually find it under privacy or site data. Blocking cookies won't break the site.

8. When this page changes
We rewrite this page in the same change as the tracking code it describes, so it can't drift into describing a different site. The date at the top moves when that happens.
