HDR stands for high dynamic range. A single camera exposure can't hold a bright window and a dim corner at the same time. One ends up blown out, the other ends up muddy. HDR captures several exposures of the same frame and merges them, so the window keeps its view and the room keeps its detail. It's the reason a professional interior reads even and true while a phone shot reads dark or washed out. Every OpenDoors360 frame runs through the same five stages.

Bracketed capture.
Each frame is shot as several exposures, from dark to bright, on a leveled tripod so the geometry stays square.

Exposure merge.
The exposures are combined into one frame that holds the window, the walls, and the shadows together.

Tone mapping.
Light is balanced across the image so the room reads bright and natural rather than flat or overcooked.
Stage 04
Color correction.
Mixed light from windows, lamps, and overheads is neutralized so whites read white and wood reads true.
Stage 05
Detail finishing.
Verticals are straightened, distractions are cleaned, and each frame is sharpened and exported web-ready and MLS-sized.

Which of these a listing actually needs.
Almost no listing needs the whole menu. What a property needs depends on its size and on who is meant to click it, so here are four cases and what real estate photographers would put on each. Every number is the starting rate from the table above.
Case 01
A one-bedroom rental under 1,500 sq ft.
HDR photography at $200 is usually the whole job. Add the 1-take walkthrough video for $150 if the unit is going on social media too. A 360 virtual tour rarely earns its cost on a floor plan a buyer can read in six photos.
Case 02
A vacant unit or a finished shell.
HDR plus virtual staging at $50 per image. Empty rooms photograph honestly and still read small, because nothing in the frame gives a viewer scale. Stage the living room and the primary bedroom first and leave the rest bare.
Case 03
A house, or a listing buyers travel to see.
HDR, video, and a 360 virtual tour together run $575 as a bundle against $600 booked apart. Out-of-town potential buyers walk the property in the tour before they book a flight, so the tour is doing the first showing.

A property sold on its exterior.

We shoot 360 virtual tours: high-resolution panoramas linked room to room and delivered as a hosted URL with six months of hosting included, from $300.
