What is a 360 virtual tour of a Baltimore listing?

South Hanover Street.
Drag to look around.

A 360 virtual tour of a Baltimore listing is every room of the house as a panoramic image, stitched into one walkthrough. The viewer starts at the front door, picks where to look and clicks through to the next room, on a phone or a laptop, with nothing to install.

That tour is the South Hanover Street rowhouse from our HDR photos of its dining room, bedroom and kitchen. Start at the front steps and work your way back. You'll know in a minute what the photos alone can't tell a guest or a buyer: the living room runs into the dining room, the kitchen is behind that, and the stairs climb to two more floors of bedrooms.

That's the reason a tour earns its place on a Baltimore listing more than on most. A rowhouse is long and narrow, one room deep in front of the next, with the bedrooms stacked above. Photos show each room well and still leave a buyer guessing how they connect. In a 360 tour they connect themselves.

Listing agents

Rowhouses in Federal Hill, Canton and Fells Point, and detached houses in Roland Park and out in the county, where a buyer moving from out of state wants to walk it first.

Landlords and property managers

Apartments in Mount Vernon and around downtown, leased to people who can't come by on a weekday. A tour link fits in the reply to every inquiry.

Short-term rental hosts

Guests want to know where the beds are and how many stairs there are. Our Baltimore Airbnb photography page covers the photos that go with it.

Local businesses

Barbershops, studios and event spaces, where a customer wants to see the room before they book it. A tour can also go on Google, which our Google Maps virtual tours page covers.

Our Baltimore-based photographer shoots tours out in the counties too, from Towson and Rosedale to Columbia, Glen Burnie and Bel Air. Down in Anne Arundel, see Annapolis real estate photography.

That living room is in Rosedale, east of the city line in Baltimore County, at a house we shot for a short-term rental host. Detached and semi-detached houses out there have more rooms on one floor, and a tour lets a viewer turn from the living room into the kitchen and the dining table without a single photo cropping them out.

Listing photos, neighborhood by neighborhood, are on our Baltimore real estate photography page, and the whole state starts with real estate photography in Maryland.

Section 06Common questions

What Baltimore agents and hosts ask about tours.

Something else?
Text (240) 221-5818.
How much does a 360 virtual tour cost in Baltimore?

A 360 virtual tour in Baltimore costs $300 for a property up to 1,500 interior square feet, $400 up to 2,500, $500 up to 3,500, $600 up to 4,500 and $700 up to 5,500, with six months of hosting included. Above 5,500 square feet it's a custom quote. Booked with HDR photos on the same visit, the pair starts at $500.

What is a 360 virtual tour?

A 360 virtual tour is a set of panoramic images of every room, stitched together into one walkthrough a viewer moves through on their own, room to room, choosing where to look. It runs in a web browser on a phone or a computer, with nothing to download.

Do you shoot on Matterport?

OpenDoors360 doesn't shoot on Matterport. We produce our own Matterport-style 360 tours, shoot them, stitch them and host them, and the finished tour is a link you can put anywhere a listing goes.

How long does a Baltimore 360 tour take to deliver?

A Baltimore 360 tour is delivered as a hosted link within 48 hours of the shoot. If HDR photos are on the same booking, they come back in 24 to 48 hours on their own delivery link.

How long does the tour stay online?

Every 360 tour includes six months of hosting on a public link. Hosting can be extended on request, and the link works on any listing platform or website that accepts a URL.

Can I put the tour on the MLS and on social media?

The tour is a hosted link, so it goes anywhere a link goes: the MLS, a brokerage site, a property page, an email or a social media post. The same link can be embedded on a website with one line of code.

Which parts of Maryland do you cover for 360 tours?

Our Baltimore-based photographer shoots 360 tours across Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Howard County, Anne Arundel County and Harford County. Put the address in the first message and the quote says which day we can get there.

Is a 360 tour worth it for a Baltimore rowhouse?

A 360 tour is worth it for a Baltimore rowhouse because rowhouse layouts are long and narrow, and photos make it hard to tell how the rooms connect front to back and floor to floor. A tour answers that in one pass, which is the question a buyer from out of town can't answer from the photo gallery.

Do you make 360 tours for rentals and Airbnb units?

360 tours work for rentals and short-term rentals as well as sales. Three of our four Baltimore tours are furnished rentals: rowhouses on South Hanover Street and Wolfe Street, and an apartment on Cathedral Street in Mount Vernon. Short-term rental photos are priced on their own rate card, and the tour stays at $300 to $700 by square footage.

Can a business in Baltimore get a 360 tour?

Businesses in Baltimore get 360 tours too, from barbershops and studios to event spaces, any place customers like to see before they visit. The rate is the same square-footage sheet, and the tour link can go on the business website.
